Rubayat Qadeer, MD

Rubayat “Ricky” Qadeer is a Bangladeshi immigrant and family physician from Queens, NY. He is currently an Assistant Medical Director in Education & Advocacy at Montefiore’s Bronx Health Collective, as well as an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He considers himself a fierce advocate and ally for marginalized communities. This aligns with his interests which include caring for families experiencing homelessness, immigrant health, and caring for LGTBQ individuals (including HIV and gender-affirming care). He is also the co-founder of the South Bronx Community Health Leaders (SBxCHL), a pre-health pipeline program for underrepresented students seeking careers in medicine.
