Saludos! My name is Zariel Grullón. I was born in Queens, raised in Jersey and living in The Bronx. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Biology and Nutrition from Ramapo College of New Jersey and Montclair State University, respectively. I have worked in various areas of community nutrition from farm to classroom. I started off as an Urban Agriculture intern at City Green, when I left the organization I was the programs assistant and gained a lot of experience in food insecurity, nutrition education, and curriculum development. I also spent some time working for Harlem Children’s Zone. I completed my Dietetic Internship at CUNY School of Public Health and passed my exam February 2020. In my free time you can find me blogging, developing recipes, reading or playing with my dog Tuna.
