Gil Bernhard, CPA, is a partner with CohnReznick. Gil concentrates on healthcare audit, financial management, and reimbursement issues. His clients include Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), behavioral healthcare organizations, AIDS/HIV agencies, healthcare trade associations, and other related not-for-profit and for-profit health corporations. Gil also consults on internal controls and accounting systems for health centers and other not-for-profit healthcare corporations. Gil has given testimony at Medicaid administrative hearings, and has served as an expert witness in federal court in a case involving Medicaid reimbursement. Gil has frequently lectured before the National Association of Community Health Centers and state primary care associations on healthcare finance and reporting requirements for community health centers. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in New York and Florida.
