Mia Stange, MPH

Direct Services/Program Committee

Mia Stange is a J.D. candidate at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she served as Program Administrator for Terra Firma. In this role, she managed partnerships, grants, and program strategy, in addition to overseeing Terra Firma’s integration into clinical workflows at Bronx Health Collective. She is the co-author, with Brett Stark, of “The ethical and public health implications of family separation,” Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics (2019). Mia believes that health is a human right, that no human is illegal, and that effective, trauma-informed legal services are themselves a health intervention.
