Sarita Singh, MD

Dr. Sarita Singh has been a psychiatrist in NYC for the past 30 years, committed to accessibility to mental health services for all. She has served in community mental health programs, college student mental health, and in private practice. Her interest in Terra Firma grew out of her appreciation of the increased needs of immigrant families and from her experience working at a similar wrap-around program for youth facing homelessness.

Dr. Singh completed her Psychiatric Residency at NYU/Bellevue, Child Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical Center, and a Public Psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. She supervises residents at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and is on faculty at New York Psychoanalytic Institute.
