Latrice Akuamoah, MD, MPH

Latrice A. Akuamoah, M.D., M.P.H is originally from Chicago. She is the Director of Anesthesia at the Spine and Pain Institute of New York. Dr. Akuamoah is committed to improving her patients’ quality of life using a public health informed, evidence-based, multimodal approach to interventional pain management. She is faculty at the NYU Langone Hospitals and at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell where she trains and mentors residents and fellows. She completed her fellowship training at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and anesthesia residency at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is regularly an invited panelist and speaker at local and national conferences and an author of peer-reviewed pain research.
