The National Network
Terra Firma National (TFN), a nonprofit 501(c)(3), is the first and only organization in the U.S. dedicated to building and supporting a national network of programs that integrate medical, legal, and mental health services for immigrant children and families.
Founded in the South Bronx in 2013, the Terra Firma model has been nationally recognized for its pioneering approach to embedding immigration legal services within a community health center.
TFN is scaling this proven model by expanding its network of Terra Firma programs, which provide a medical home, defend legal rights, and serve as a critical social safety net for vulnerable immigrant children and families.

Terra Firma
Founded in 2013 at a community health center in the South Bronx, Terra Firma was built to respond to the urgent needs of unaccompanied children and immigrant families seeking safety in the United States. Since its inception, it has served thousands of children and families, gaining national recognition for its integrated medical, legal, and mental health model, and the need remains as urgent as ever.

Terra Firma Hempstead
Founded in Long Island, NY in 2024, Terra Firma Hempstead is a founding replication partner; one of the first programs to bring the Terra Firma model of care beyond New York City. Nassau County consistently ranks among the highest in New York State for unaccompanied immigrant children released to sponsors, reflecting the deep need for wraparound, interdisciplinary support right here in this community.

Terra Firma Baltimore
Founded in Baltimore, MD in 2024, Terra Firma Baltimore is a founding replication partner and the first program launched outside of New York. Maryland receives hundreds of unaccompanied children each year, and Baltimore has become a critical hub for families navigating the immigration system, making it a natural home for Terra Firma's innovative, interdisciplinary model of care.

Terra Firma Brentwood
Founded in Long Island, NY in 2025, Terra Firma Brentwood joins the network at a pivotal moment. Terra Firma Brentwood is putting its own stamp on high-quality care, meeting that need head-on.

Terra Firma Houston
Harris County, TX receives more unaccompanied immigrant children than almost any other county in the United States, making Houston one of the most urgent frontiers for this work. Terra Firma Houston brings the model's proven, interdisciplinary approach to one of the country's largest and most vibrant immigrant communities.
