Sara Wagner, MA

Senior Program Manager

Sara Wagner, MA is the Senior Program Manager for Terra Firma. In her role, Sara manages program operations, external partnerships, grant, data and development activities, research efforts and strategic planning. Sara holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Human Rights and International Relations from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In her UMass Tenure, Sara was a Division 1 Track and Field athlete, specializing in the Hammer throw. Throughout her career, Sara has worked for multiple immigrant service organizations, specializing in work with survivors of torture and asylum seekers. Currently, Sara is also on the Advisory Council for InReach and is the part-time Communications Manager for Friends of Kisoro.

Terra Firma is the original direct service program, providing integrated medical, mental health, and legal services to immigrant children and families through the Terra Firma Model in Bronx, New York.

Terra Firma National is a separate nonprofit organization dedicated to replicating and advancing the Terra Firma Model across the country.
