Carlos came to the U.S. alone at 17, fleeing gang violence in Honduras. His journey was dangerous and traumatic, but he made it to New York, where he now lives with his grandmother. Through Terra Firma, Carlos received medical care, legal support, and counseling. He finds peace playing soccer in the Bronx and is focused on building a safer, brighter future.
