Jenny Ajl, FNP

Jenny Ajl is a family nurse practitioner working at El Rio, a federally qualified health center in Tucson, Arizona, focusing on family practice, reproductive health, and substance use disorders. She graduated in 2019 from the Yale Schools of Nursing and Public Health. At Yale, Jenny was a student leader of several organizations, including the Yale Center for Asylum Medicine, the Refugee Patient Navigator Program, and the HAVEN Free Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University. Jenny was first inspired to practice medicine and work with immigrant communities in her time working at the Center for Children's Health and Resiliency, as the first program coordinator for Terra Firma. Jenny is committed to working with immigrant patients and families from the border to the coasts, and providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all, especially those marginalized in the past and present.
