Vanessa Iaffa, LMSW

Vanessa Iaffa is a social worker and is thrilled to join the Terra Firma team! Vanessa received her MSW from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Prior to social work school, Vanessa worked in higher education, most recently as the Pre-Health Programs Advisor at Macaulay Honors College/CUNY. Most of the students Vanessa worked with were immigrant and first-generation to attend college. Vanessa has also worked with families involved with ACS cases at Brooklyn Defender Services and at a community mental health clinic where she worked with people from different backgrounds, most of whom had histories of complex trauma. Vanessa was born in Argentina and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
